Detailed Privacy Policy of the Kisan FarmTrack mobile application.
This Privacy Policy has been prepared by Prime Code Studio — the operator, owner and developer of the Kisan FarmTrack mobile application, whose registered office is located in the State of Chhattisgarh, India. This Policy presents a detailed and transparent account of what information we collect from you, the purposes for which we collect it, and how we use, store, process and secure it, as well as the rights that remain reserved with you in relation to your information.
This Privacy Policy has been drafted in conformity with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all policies of the Google Play Store currently in force.
The moment you download, install, register on, or in any manner use our App, you shall be deemed to be bound by all the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision of this Policy, please immediately stop using the App and uninstall it from your device.
Our App is a comprehensive digital platform for the farmers of India, the farming community, agricultural traders, shopkeepers, tractor owners, seed and fertilizer sellers, and other stakeholders connected with agriculture. The purpose of this App is to bring modern technology to farmers in simple language, to maintain a digital record of their agricultural activities, to provide accurate mandi (market) prices, to assist in the identification of crop diseases, to provide information about government schemes, and to promote mutual cooperation and dialogue among farmers. Since the nature of the App is multi-dimensional, we collect different categories of information for different purposes, and in this Policy we set out a detailed, clear and honest description of each category of information.
Our organisation is Prime Code Studio, a software development entity registered in India, and the owner, operator and Data Controller of the Kisan FarmTrack App. The package name of the App is com.farmtrack.kisan and it is distributed on the Google Play Store in India.

All data control, processing and storage relating to this App is the responsibility of Prime Code Studio, and in the event of any dispute, the jurisdiction shall vest in the courts of the State of Chhattisgarh, as clearly stated in the concluding sections of this Policy.
When you begin using our App, you voluntarily, with full mental capacity and without any coercion, consent to all the provisions set out in this Privacy Policy. If you are under eighteen years of age, you should use this App only under the supervision of your parents or legal guardian and should not provide any personal information without their consent.
When you register, log in, create a profile, upload photos or videos, record financial transactions, grant location permission, or use any feature of the App, it shall be deemed that you have read, understood and accepted this Policy.
Our App offers a wide range of features, and the operation of each feature requires different types of information. Below we provide a detailed description of each category of information.
When you register on the App, we collect your full name, ten-digit mobile number, optionally a Gmail address, and the password chosen by you. If you log in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, profile photo and email address from your Google account. This information is stored securely in our Firebase Firestore database and is used to establish the identity of your account, to provide you with a secure login facility, and to link the content created by you to you. Your mobile number serves as the primary identifier for us and is used for OTP verification, account recovery, and for sending essential notifications.
Our App collects information about your location for a number of features. When you fill in the State, District, Tehsil, Block and Village information in your profile, this information is stored on our servers and is used to show you nearby mandi prices, local weather, nearby shops, local advertisements, and farmer discussions from your area. In addition, when you capture a GPS location in the Land Measure feature and in the Tractor Diary, we obtain precise location from your device's GPS sensor in the form of latitude and longitude. This location data is used to measure the boundary of your field, to record the location of tractor work, and to create map links for reaching the customer's field. Location information is collected only when you yourself grant the relevant permission and use the relevant feature.
Our App provides a number of financial tools for farmers, including the Udhaari Khata (Credit Ledger), Interest Calculator, Mandi Calculator, Shop Bill, Global Budget, Tractor Diary, and Currency Calculator. When you use these features, we collect the financial information entered by you, such as the name of the person giving or taking credit, mobile number, village, amount, rate of interest, date, description, payment status; the name of the crop sold in the mandi, quantity, rate, details of deductions; the list of items included in a shop bill, the customer's name and contact details; the details of tractor work, customer information, diesel expenses, wages, and payment status.
All of this information is stored securely in the local SQLite database on your device and, optionally, in your Firebase account under your private collection. The purpose of this information is solely to provide you with the facility of maintaining your financial records, and this information is not shared with any other user or third party. The confidentiality of this information is fully maintained and it is displayed only on the device authorised by you.
When you upload your profile photo, cover photo, videos or photos in Kisan Charcha (the farmer forum), product photos in the Digital Mandi, shop photos, shop product photos, or screenshots in a support ticket, we collect that media content. Before upload, this content is compressed on your device and then stored on a secure cloud storage service called Cloudflare R2. A public link is created for each media file, which is saved in our Firebase Firestore database. When you upload a video, we also generate a thumbnail from it so that it loads quickly in grid view. We use your media content only to operate the relevant feature of the App and make no other commercial use of it.
When you post in the App's Kisan Charcha (Forum) feature, we collect the message written by you, the caption, the crop name, your name, profile photo, and your location information (State, District, Tehsil). When you follow another farmer, we maintain a list of following and followers. When you block someone, we keep the blocked list secure. When you like, comment on, or share a post, we keep a record of that activity. In addition, we collect the relevant information in order to send you notifications of likes and comments from other farmers. In the support ticket feature, when you record a problem, we keep a record of the description of your problem, the attached screenshots, and all conversations.
For the operation, security and improvement of the App, we collect certain technical information relating to your device. This includes the manufacturer and model name of your device, the version of the Android operating system, the App version number (Version Code), the device's unique identification number (Android ID), and the Firebase Cloud Messaging token (FCM Token). This technical information helps us maintain the functionality of the App, analyse errors, detect security incidents, and send appropriate notifications to your device. We do not use this information to establish your personal identity; rather, we use it only for overall technical analysis and security.
In order to understand which features of our App farmers use the most, we collect certain aggregate usage information. This includes the name of the screen viewed by you, the number of times a particular feature is used, the duration of an App session, and counts of activities such as disease searches and viewing of government schemes. This information is collected in a purely anonymised form and its purpose is only to understand the performance of the App and to add better features in the future. We do not use this information to identify any particular user.
When you use an OTP for registration or password recovery, we keep a count of OTP usage based on your mobile number. This includes the number of OTPs sent per day, the number of OTPs sent per month, the total number of OTPs sent over the lifetime, the date on which the last OTP was sent, the number of incorrect OTP attempts, and the blocked status. This information is necessary to prevent misuse of OTPs, to maintain security, and to detect suspicious activity. This information is stored securely, linked to your mobile number and your device's unique identification number.
When you invite other farmers to use the App, we collect your referral code, the number of invitations sent by you, the number of successful invitations, and information about the reward points earned by you. When a new farmer joins the App through your referral code, we record that new farmer's name, mobile number and time of joining. The purpose of this information is to operate the referral programme, distribute rewards, and measure the effectiveness of the programme.
When you contact our support centre, we collect the description of your problem, the screenshots sent by you, and the entire chain of conversation. When you give a rating for the App, we collect the rating given by you, the feedback written by you, and the time of the rating. If you give a four or five star rating, we direct you to rate the App on the Google Play Store, and if you give a lower rating, we seek detailed feedback from you so that we can improve the App.
We collect your information mainly in three ways.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party, nor do we share it for commercial gain. However, in certain circumstances we may need to share your information, and those circumstances are as follows:
Our App uses a number of third-party services that provide us with technical support. Google Firebase is our primary backend service provider, offering the Firestore database, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics and Analytics. Cloudflare R2 is responsible for the storage of our media files. Message Central services are being used for mobile number verification. Google AdMob helps us display advertisements so that we can keep the App free of cost. Google Play Billing is used for payment for VIP advertisements. Open-Meteo provides weather-related data. Google Sign-In provides authentication functionality.
Each service provider has its own privacy policy and terms of service, and we advise you to read their policies as well. We are not responsible for any activity carried out by these service providers, as they are independent entities and act in accordance with their own policies.
We use industry-standard security measures to keep your information safe. Your information is stored on Google's secure Firebase servers, which are protected by automatic encryption, rule-based access control, and multi-layered security. Media files are kept on Cloudflare R2's secure storage. Your information can be accessed only by you yourself or through authorised administrators. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures for the security of your information; however, we cannot guarantee that any transmission over the internet is completely secure.
If a security breach occurs that creates a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authority in accordance with applicable law.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as long as is necessary for legal, tax, accounting or regulatory reasons. When you delete your account, we endeavour to delete your personal information promptly; however, certain information may be retained for an additional period for legal compliance.
Records of financial transactions, support tickets, and legally significant information may be retained for up to seven years, as required by applicable law. Screen views and anonymised usage information may be retained by us indefinitely, because they do not reveal the identity of any person.

Our App is designed primarily for farmers, agricultural traders, and adult users connected with agriculture. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of thirteen, we will take appropriate steps to delete it immediately. If you are a parent and you believe that your child has provided information to us, please contact us.
Our App uses certain specific permissions that are necessary for the functionality of the App:

If you continue to use the App after the publication of an updated version of the Policy, it shall be deemed that you agree to the new Policy. We advise you to keep checking this page from time to time so that you remain informed of the latest information.
Part Two
Terms and Conditions governing the use of the Kisan FarmTrack application.
In these Terms and Conditions, the term "App" means the Kisan FarmTrack mobile application. The terms "we", "our", "us" and "Company" mean Prime Code Studio. The terms "you", "your", "User" and "farmer" mean the person who downloads, installs or uses the App. The term "Services" means all the features provided by the App, including Kisan Diary, Udhaari Khata (Credit Ledger), Mandi Calculator, Bill Calculator, Tractor Diary, Land Measure, Seed Calculator, Interest Calculator, Currency Calculator, Age Calculator, Shopping List, Digital Mandi, Kisan Charcha, Government Schemes, Crop Knowledge Repository, Disease Identification, Live Weather, Nearby Shops, and all other present and future features.
By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the App. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legal contract between you and Prime Code Studio. You confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms and that you are doing so without any coercion, fraud or misrepresentation.
To use the App, you must be at least eighteen years of age, or must be under the consent and supervision of your parents or legal guardian. You must be a resident of India or be legally authorised to operate in India. You must not use the App as a person who has previously been convicted of any offence or who is legally prohibited from using such services. You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations and government policies while using the App.
To use most features of the App, you will need to create an account. When creating an account, you must provide correct, complete and current information. You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with any other person. You are responsible for all activities that take place through your account. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account, you must notify us immediately.
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently close your account in the event of any suspicious activity.
While using the App, you are bound by the following responsibilities:

You are fully responsible for all content uploaded by you on the App, including text, photos, videos, comments, and other content. You confirm that you hold all necessary rights to upload that content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to remove any content without any prior notice if it violates these terms or violates any law. We are not liable for any damage, loss, or legal liability arising from content uploaded by you. If any claim is made by a third party in relation to your content, the entire responsibility shall be yours, and you agree to indemnify us against any damage of any kind.
The entire design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, and all other content of the App are the intellectual property of Prime Code Studio and are protected under the Indian Copyright Act, the Trademarks Act, and other related laws. You have no right to copy, modify, distribute, publish, sell, rent, or create derivative works from any content of the App. You have the right to use the App only for personal and non-commercial purposes. If you wish to use any content of the App, you must obtain our prior written permission.
The App may include links to and content from third-party services, including advertisements, links to government schemes, links to external websites, and other third-party content. We accept no responsibility of any kind for these third-party services and content. You use these links at your own risk, and we advise you to read the privacy policy and terms of service of any external link before visiting it. We do not provide any guarantee as to the quality, reliability or availability of services provided by any third party.
Certain premium features are available in the App, including VIP advertising packages. Payment for these features is made through Google Play Billing and is subject to Google's policies. We are not directly involved in the payment process, and for any payment-related issue we advise you to contact the Google Play Store.
Once a payment has been made, it is generally not refunded, except in situations where a refund is permissible under Google's policies. If a service purchased by you cannot be provided due to a technical problem, we will endeavour to provide an appropriate resolution.
While using the VIP advertising service, you must comply with the following special terms:
We endeavour to keep all the features of the App available as far as possible; however, we do not guarantee the continuous availability of any feature. We may add, change, suspend or remove any feature without any prior notice. We may temporarily shut down the services of the App for technical maintenance, server updates, or other reasons. We shall not be liable for any damage or compensation of any kind for any such interruption or discontinuation of service.
All information provided in the App, including crop knowledge, disease identification, government schemes, mandi prices, weather information, and all other content, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. This information is not a substitute for professional agricultural advice, legal advice, financial advice, or medical advice of any kind. Before making any agricultural decision, you should consult a qualified expert in the relevant field.
We do not provide any guarantee that the information given in the App is complete, correct, up to date, or error-free. Weather-related information is obtained from third-party sources and is not guaranteed to be accurate. Mandi price information is provided by other farmers and may differ from the actual market price. Disease identification information is only an aid and should not be used as a substitute for professional agricultural consultation.
This section is extremely important and should be read with attention.
Under no circumstances, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal principle, shall Prime Code Studio, its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, or licensors be liable to you for any special, incidental, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages. This includes, without limitation — loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of use, or any other kind of economic or non-economic loss — whether or not we were previously informed of the possibility of such damage.
Our total cumulative liability, arising from any cause whatsoever, shall in no circumstance exceed five hundred rupees (₹500/-). This limit applies to all types of claims, suits, or proceedings, whether arising now or in the future.
This limit applies to your use of the App, reliance on any information provided in the App, interruption of any feature of the App, any error in the App, any payment made through the App, or any other matter relating to the App. This limit applies to all claims arising under this Policy, regardless of their basis.
This provision is valid and enforceable in accordance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all other applicable laws. If, in any jurisdiction, it is not possible to enforce such a limitation, this section shall be limited in that jurisdiction to the minimum permissible extent. This limitation places all risks relating to the use of the App upon you, and you expressly agree to this condition.
You agree that you shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prime Code Studio, its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, suits, proceedings, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees).
This indemnification applies to all claims arising from your breach of these terms, your improper use of the App, any content uploaded by you, your infringement of the rights of any third party, or any unlawful act on your part. This indemnification also applies to any mistake, negligence, or intentional act committed by you during your use of the App.
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account without any prior notice and without stating any reason. This may be done when we believe that you have breached these terms, violated any applicable law, violated the rights of any other user, or engaged in any activity that is harmful to our interests.
In the event of account termination, all your information will be deleted and you will lose access to all features of the App. You have the right to delete your account voluntarily at any time, and you may do so by going to the App's settings or by contacting us.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes, claims or differences arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Chhattisgarh, India.
Whatever the cause of the dispute — whether relating to contract, tort, or any other legal basis — it shall be resolved only by the competent courts of the State of Chhattisgarh. You expressly agree that you will not take any dispute arising out of these terms to any court other than the courts of the State of Chhattisgarh.
This jurisdiction clause applies irrespective of which State of India or which country you are located in, or from where you have used the App. This provision is valid in accordance with the Indian Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, and all other applicable laws.
Any dispute arising under this Policy shall first be sought to be resolved through friendly negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days of negotiation, it may be referred to mediation. The mediation process shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.
If mediation also fails, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of the State of Chhattisgarh. At all stages of this process, the English language shall be used and Indian law shall apply. During the entire dispute resolution process, you may continue to use the App; however, if the seriousness of the dispute is high, we may temporarily suspend your account.
All notices relating to this Policy, whether from us or from you, must be in writing. Notices from our side may be sent through the App, by email, or by post to the address provided by you. Notices from your side must be sent by email to support.primecodestudio@gmail.com.
A notice shall be deemed to have been received within seven (7) days of the date of sending. If you change your contact information, you must notify us immediately; otherwise, a notice sent to the old information shall be deemed valid.
If any provision of this Policy is found to be illegal, void, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that provision shall to that extent be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain fully in force.
No provision of this Policy shall be deemed to have been waived by any party on the basis of any act or failure to act. This Policy represents the entire understanding between you and Prime Code Studio and supersedes all previous agreements, negotiations, and proposals. No term of this Policy may be modified by any other document unless such modification is accepted by us in writing. All headings in this Policy are for convenience only and should not be used to interpret the Policy.
After carefully reading this Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions, if you continue to use the App, it shall be deemed that you have read, understood, and accepted all of these provisions. If you do not agree with any of these provisions, please immediately stop using the App and remove it from your device.
These terms will not be enforced against you without your consent; however, continuing to use the App itself shall be treated as proof of your consent. We are committed to empowering Indian agriculture together with our farmer brothers and sisters, and we hope that this App will bring a positive change in your life.
